  • At Cascade Elite Gymnastics, the health and well-being of our gymnasts, coaches, and staff are of utmost importance. We strive to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone who participates in our programs. Therefore, we ask that parents and guardians adhere to the following sick child policy:

Symptoms: If your child is experiencing symptoms of illness such as fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or any other contagious condition, we kindly request that you keep them home from gymnastics class.

Recovery Period: To prevent the spread of illness and protect the health of our gymnastics community, children should remain home from class until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.

Communication: We understand that unexpected illnesses can arise, and we appreciate prompt communication from parents regarding their child's absence from class due to illness. Please note in iClassPro or reach out to us directly if your child will be absent from class due to illness.

Make-Up Classes: Unfortunately, becuase many of our classes constantly run at capacity, we do not offer make up classes for sick days.

Hygiene Practices: Encourage your child to practice good hygiene habits, such as washing their hands frequently with soap and water, covering their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and avoiding close contact with individuals who are sick.

Preventative Measures: In addition to our sick child policy, we have implemented enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols throughout our facility to minimize the risk of illness transmission. We also encourage all members of our gymnastics community to stay up-to-date on vaccinations and other preventive measures recommended by healthcare professionals.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in helping us maintain a healthy environment for all. If you have any questions or concerns about our sick child policy, please don't hesitate to contact us.
